DOT Medical Review
The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) specifies how drug testing is performed to meet the requirements of the United States Department of Transportation (DOT).
CMRO understands the rules set forth in these regulations and is the foremost Canadian expert in ensuring that your drug testing programme meets the DOT’s requirements.
Another benefit of working with CMRO is leveraging our quality assurance processes which ensures that the drug test was collected, documented and tested correctly, each and every time. Whether you are a consortium, Third-party Administrator (TPA) or employer performing drug tests, you can count on CMRO to make sure your collections were done the right way and that the results are legally defensible.

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) rule, 49 CFR Part 40, describes the required procedures for conducting workplace drug and alcohol testing for the Federally (United States) regulated transportation industry.
More specifically, in Subpart G the DOT provides very specific and detailed guidance in regard to how medical review of drug tests should be performed.
You can be sure that CMRO understands not only these regulations but how they apply to Canadian workplaces.
